Focus on Your Core Business:
The Permanent Placement of
with Individuals and Families
At Hague Compliance, we know an adoption agency’s purpose is to act as an advocate for children in need of permanent placement with loving families. Hague Compliance is dedicated to helping agencies build strong business processes, communication programs, and documentation practices that ensure the agency can focus on its core business of building families while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
The Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption entered into force for the United States on April 1, 2008. Hague Compliance helps adoption agencies through the accreditation process. Once an agency is accredited, Hague Compliance continues to work with the
agency to prepare them for re-accreditation by improving business practices and increasing customer satisfaction. This is accomplished through business practice refinement and training on processes and programs derived from each agency's unique management and service standards.
The Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption is an international agreement between participating countries on best adoption practices. These practices have basically two goals:
- The best interests of children are considered with each intercountry adoption.
- The prevention of abduction, exploitation, sale, or trafficking of children.
Since we have helped several agencies through the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption accreditation process, we know how detailed and time consuming (and possibly disruptive to your staff) it can be. We acknowledge that your core business is the permanement placement of children with families.
Hague Compliance can help if you are:
- in the accreditation process
- have already received accreditation and are looking forward to re-accreditation
- are looking for industry best practices to ensure the sustainability of your organization.
